Gala Dinner

Guys,

its that time of year you've all been waiting for!!!! Gala dinner is nearly upon us

This yr. Gala dinner is going to be held on November 1st at the Hilton Hotel, Sheffield. The cost is £35 per person.

For those of you who haven't been to the dinner in the past, its 1 of the highlights of the social calender! dress code is suits and ties (not strictly black tie) and its a great event to bring a mate to or your significant other. There is a 3 course meal with wine on the table, a few short speeches and then a DJ and after dinner drinks at the Hilton lounge bar.
We have already had plenty of interest from some of the club Old Boys so there will be a few doctors there who might even get you a beer if you talk to them nicely

The menu for the evening is as follows:

Cream of Leek and Potato Soup

Roast Rib of British Beef
Served with Traditional Yorkshire pudding and Pan Gravy
or
Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Risotto,
garnished with cherry tomatoes and parmesan (v)
**
Vanilla Cheesecake
Served with a dark chocolate sauce, laced with brandy
**
Coffee and Mints

contact Baxter with your cheques (£35 per person, USUS Medics Rugby) and Sellens with the names of you and your guest(s), choice of main meal, and any special dietary requirements.

Ok boys,

Just been down to the hilton to check out the room and make final arragements. This yr. we're gonna be upstairs and we have our own balcony and lounge bar, all very nice indeed!

Just a reminder that i need money and final details by FRIDAY THIS WEEK so please get them to me asap. We will be in the West end tonight (mon) between 6 and 8 and training tomorrow. Otherwise you will have to contact me and get them to me direct. £35 per person, the menu is on the new feed on the web site (thanks beard)

This is a great night and not one to be missed. Bring a date or a couple of mates, get dressed up and get involved!!!
