match v ossett on 2nd Jan!

as ive previously mentioned, the league are keen for us to play ossett this sat. due 2 norton probably not bein able 2 accomadate us we are most likely goin to play this match away, weather dependant of course! I know its a rubbish time to play, and there is still a lot of snow/ice around but the league are worried about the backlog of games so r adamant we do our best to play this match this sat otherwise we may be docked points!

as i am attemptin to teach myself the entirity of medicine over the next few weeks, al n pops will b sortin out the team for this week. cud u all plz make their jobs that much easier by postin a msg regardin yr chances of bein available. I know its an annoyin time and sum ppl (myself included) hav a long way to travel, but if we get through the next few weeks without droppin points, we'll b right in the hunt for toppin the league! n if not, all the hard work we've put in so far wud b wasted.

so if uve played at all for the 1st team this season plz write a short msg regardin availibility for this crucial match?

I'm back in shef new year's eve. Dont know if people will be back on new year's day but if they are I think it'd be good if we can get together for a cheeky training session/touch on new year's day. I realise not everyone will be able to get back for it but if you're about let me know.

hang on matty, don't tar any1 else with your gay brush - I don't see any1 else bitching an moanin about "hard ground". We use the hard ground to dodge and dive so we don't get tackled, these are things you have yet to learn son....

Yeah, i am "happy" to play. But the weather forecast looks awful. Apparently its not going to get above 0 for the two days before the game and with wind chill is going to feel around -7. I love Yorkshire rugby in the winter!

turns out cos of all snow/frost ossett hav called game off! cheers for makin yrselves available again guys. remember nxt sat is hemsworth away! we'll hopefully b trainin on the friday as well as most ppl will b back by then. x

Special mention to social joe who is just pullin up at Sheffield train station specially for the game.....

It might be helpful if people who are around for next week post up when they will be back in shef so that we could sort out trainin? I need some rugby, I'm literally goin crazy doin revision!

ha. it was an absolute mish! got the call from alex just as i was getting into sheffield. just got onto the next train back to northampton. theres four hours of my life i'll never see again. oh well. back in shef permantantly now. can't wait to get started
