Christmas Curry
Boys I'm pleased to announce that following a top secret meeting of the powers that be the theme for xmas curry has been set.
The prerequisits were - few/ tight clothing
- we all look the same
- very masculine
Following the success of 300 and tribal it gives me great pleasure to announce the theme for 2009 will be:
Ballet Dancers (2 out of 3's not bad)
Older members of the club all in PINK
Freshers (virgin xmas curry members)- WHITE
The fine details are yet to be sorted. Its on Wed 16th Dec, in the evening, at Balti King and £10 will probably get you a beer, a curry, a naan and some rice but lets face it who cares. You'll all be there for a xmas themed heart to heart with Tony Balti, the drunken debouchary, epic stories and to watch your captains and unlucky side kicks eat the Thaals. It is truely one of the best days of the year.
Start increasing your alcohol tolerances it is an epic 24hrs of lash
Further details of who to give your names and money to will follow.
DOR
PS if anyone finds any good shops/ market stalls to buy leggings, leotards, tutus, leg warmers and anything else you feel is appropriate please advise them they may have another 50 customers and post it on the website.

Re: Christmas Curry
As general club layabout who generally has a large amount of time on his hands it seems to have been designated to me to organise this years christmas day camping trip. For those of you who do not know what this means, this involves camping out over night to make sure that we are the first in line to get tickets for christmas day. With this in mind i am creating a list of "volunteers" to assist in the purchasing of said tickets. Those standing in line will be rewarded for their hard work, and hopefully ludicrous stupid acts over the night time, most likely with beer or other assorted alcoholic beverages.
So far the list of "volunteers" stands as:
Captain: Baby Billy
First Team Rob
Alpha Matt Clarkeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Joe Gaynor
Anybody else wanting to get involved please write on the forum. Closer to the time i will organise an official camping trip and give you all the details. Be warned if i do not get volunteers i will nominate people. Those failing to turn up may face a snuff based challenge from my backside , which i am sure none of you wish to be involved in! On the plus side this is generally a hilarious night of fun.
On a serious note if we don't get in line we don't get tickets so it is important for all of us wanting to go to man up and get involved.

Just because he's brown it doesn't mean he's automatically good at eating curry, Al, you racist.
Bolton, everyone wants to see you do a Phaal again, stop trying to get out of it!

Re: Christmas Curry
why not mix it up a bit this year (and basically get as many people doing a phaal as poss)?
obviously still have the 1st and 2nd team, then a 'brown' team (for equal op's), and an 'inadequate white guy' team?
Im sure many would agree that this is definitely a spectacle that would get us onto the national news and hence expand our evergrowing reputation and popularity!

Re: Christmas Curry
oh that will be good...
means that the 10 or so people left by 1am will have a whale of a time in all that space.
its all about balti king round 2 at that point.
someone mentioned sellens hasnt done the phaal despite being club captain last year, fearful of a backlash it should be noted i havent either. would it be wrong to finish medschool having not done it?? im very excited for the day.

Re: Christmas Curry
Just to keep up with this, our current list of cadidates includes (in possible teams)
mature members of club that havn't done it- Sellens and Baxter.
no particular theme- Roshan, Skinreg, Tissa, Amir.
First team- Tissa, Zak (cont to smile sweep stake).
2nd team- Danny Coe.
3rd team- Jewy.
This needs to be worked out, we only order three a year don't we (don't actually remember any of them other than my own
